Our Vanilla Extract is obtained from the Vanilla planifolia plant by solvent extraction (our solvent is organic). Our advice is to avoid purchasing such products. So, if you come across a vanilla aromatic labeled as Vanilla Essential Oil, chances are the seller is trying to deceive their customers or hasn’t done their homework. The aromatic compounds of vanilla beans cannot be attained by these methods of extraction.
